An HSC does not create one universal entry result. Institutions assess your board, subjects, grades, programme choice, English evidence and sometimes individual subject prerequisites.
Direct entry or a pathway
Some students may qualify for direct bachelor’s entry. Others may be offered a foundation, diploma or other pathway before progressing. The correct route depends on the institution and course—not on a generic country rule.
What is commonly checked
- SSC and HSC certificates and transcripts
- Required HSC subjects for the chosen degree
- Overall result and, where relevant, subject grades
- English-language evidence or an approved alternative
- Passport identity details
- A statement, portfolio, interview or test for selected courses
Check the exact course page
Always read the international entry requirements for the specific course and intake. If a requirement is unclear, request written clarification from the institution before paying a deposit.
