Information we collect

We may collect your name, contact details, preferred destination, study interests, academic history, English-language results, financial or scholarship information, passport and application documents, and the messages you send us. We only request documents reasonably connected to the support you ask for.

How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, provide counselling, identify suitable courses, assist with applications, support scholarship and visa preparation, arrange pre-departure guidance, maintain service records, protect our systems and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Website enquiries and communication

The native enquiry form collects the details shown on the form so our counselling team can answer your question and manage follow-up. The form sends those details through our website server to a private Google Sheet via Google Apps Script, a Supabase database and an internal email notification sent through Resend. Upstash is used only to rate-limit submissions using a short-lived counter linked to a hashed IP address. The eligibility checker and budget calculator stay in your browser unless you choose to send a prepared message. WhatsApp, telephone, email and social-media providers process messages under their own terms.

When information may be shared

With your knowledge or permission, information may be shared with relevant universities, education providers, application platforms, testing or accommodation services, and government or immigration authorities. We may also use trusted technology providers or disclose information where required by law. We aim to share only what is necessary for the stated purpose.

Storage, security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No online method is completely secure. We keep information only for as long as needed for the service, legal, accounting or dispute purposes, then delete or anonymise it where practicable. Some providers or overseas institutions may process information outside Bangladesh.

Your choices

You may ask what personal information we hold, request a correction, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, unsubscribe from study updates, or ask us to delete information where retention is no longer required. Withdrawing information may limit our ability to continue an application. We may verify your identity before responding.

Student images and outcomes

We publish identifiable student images and outcome information only when permission has been provided. A student may contact us to request review or removal. We do not knowingly invite children to submit information without appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

Website guide, analytics and technical data

Questions entered in the automated Thinkoogram Guide are matched to information already on this website and remain only in the current browser session. They are not sent to an external AI service.

Google Analytics 4 is optional and remains off unless you select “Accept analytics”. If accepted, it may process page visits, referral source, approximate location, browser or device details, scrolling and outbound-link interactions so we can understand and improve the website. It also records limited lead events, including a successful enquiry, but we never send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, grades, budgets, checker answers or message contents to Analytics. We have disabled advertising storage, advertising signals and ad personalisation. Google processes this information under its privacy policy.

You can decline or change your choice at any time through the “Analytics settings” button. Declining removes available Google Analytics cookies from this site. Basic hosting or security logs may still record technical information such as IP address, browser type and request time.
